چکیده
The present study aims to address the future projection of waves and storm surges Tropical cyclones over Arabian Sea, using atmosphere-ocean numerical models CMIP5 climate models. A Pseudo Global Warming (PGW) approach was utilised implement a WRF-FVCOM-SWAN framework utilized estimate changes historical event in climate. uncertainties included different parts can lead remarkable this estimation are required be addressed quantified for more appropriate estimation. Different factors such as forcing, boundary condition, physics play significant role wave surge revealed that wind forcing provided by WRF model is governing factor with highest importance.

Wind driven oceanic surface waves have a major impact on marine activity, especially near the coastal regions. Strong winds associated with winter storms induce storm surges along the west coast of Japan. Combined high wind conditions, tides, and storm surges can have a tremendous impact on the surface wave fields. Accurate wave forecast becomes an important issue at various operational forecas...
متن کاملModelling waves and surges during the 1953 storm.
Waves and sea levels have been modelled for the storm of 31 January-1 February 1953. Problems in modelling this event are associated with the difficulty of reconstructing wind fields and validating the model results with the limited data available from 50 years ago. The reconstruction of appropriate wind fields for surge and wave models is examined. The surges and waves are reproduced reasonabl...
